I’m hoping this will be the last, but we won’t really know for a very long time.
2020 will be a better year if we are just a little slower to react, and more eager to understand.
One year with cancer – the rest to go.
Surgery went well – now we’re on to radiation before coming back to the chemo. 2019 will be a long year.
Okay, so at least to my parents’ house. The surgery was far less invasive than anticipated – which means instead of the two or three nights I was expected to be hospitalized, I just have one. Surgery was this morning – and I’m already awake and more lucid than I have any right to be. The mass came out very easily. Almost like peeling it out. We got a clean removal, and there was no vascular re-routing required. I feel blessed – and I’m so appreciative of all the people who have reached out and given me encouragement and support.
